About Possum Pantry
Possum Pantry is a local cottage-food shop making finished freeze-dried foods from our own ingredients for pickup in Weatherford, Texas.
We prepare fruits, vegetables, candy, baked snacks and pantry favorites in small runs, then package them in practical sizes for everyday snacking and pantry storage.
Possum Pantry is a registered Texas cottage food operation (Texas DSHS Registration #21750). Food handler certification is complete. Because we registered with NPAR (in lieu of a physical address), bags and public pages show the registration number — not a home street address. Pickup is by appointment in Weatherford; we contact the phone on the order when bags are packed.

Every item in the shop is a finished Texas cottage product. We source the ingredients, prepare and freeze dry the food, check the finished batch, and package it for local pickup.
Freeze drying removes moisture, but it is not a kill step or sterilization. We do not process customer-owned food, and products that do not meet our safety or quality standards may be withheld.
